You will require this approval if you intend to operate a mechanic's business premise where pre-registration inspections on light and/or heavy vehicles are performed for the state's transport department.

A separate approval (Approval as a Vehicle Examiner) is required for individual mechanics who work on inspections. Please consult the Contact Officer for further details.
