ADR 63 Trailers Designed for Use in Road Trains - Tasmania

Description

You will need to comply with this Australian Design Rule (ADR) if you intend to manufacture a particular heavy combination vehicle. This rule applies to electrical wiring, connections and installations in certain road trains that are longer than 19 metres.

This ADR applies to:

  • road trains (B-triples and combinations, other than B-double, consisting of a motor vehicle towing at least 2 trailers)
  • semi-trailers
  • dog trailers
  • converter dolly's.
