Pipeline Facilities Standards - Pressure Vessels - Tasmania

Description

You will need to comply with these standards if you intend to operate pressure vessels as part of the operation of a gas pipeline facility. A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gas at a pressure substantially different to the normal pressure.

The standards that you need to comply with are:

  • AS 1210 Pressure vessels
  • AS 1271 Safety valves, other valves, liquid level gauges, and other fittings for boilers and unfired pressure vessels
  • AS 2971 Serially produced pressure vessels.
