- operate premises where skin penetration procedures are performed
- clean and / or sterilise appliance for the purpose of skin penetration.
Skin penetration procedures are procedures where the skin is cut, punctured, torn or shaved or a mucous membrane is cut, punctured or torn. Skin penetration procedures include:
- acupuncture
- beauty treatments (such as waxing)
- body piercing
- cosmetic enhancements
- tattooing.
