Certificate of Approval of Minimal Flush Fixtures and Fittings - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this approval if you intend to use or manufacture toilet fixtures or fittings that will have insufficient water to operate a flush of 3.5 litres or more at all times. The most common types of fixtures to fall into these categories are flushing cisterns and closet pans.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval you must:

  • provide the Agency with full scale drawings and specifications relating to the type of pan or cistern in question
  • pay the required fees
  • if required by the Agency, provide a specimen or working model of the type of pan or cistern in respect of which the certificate is sought
  • submit any required forms.
