Australian Standard AS 5008: Hygienic Rendering of Animal Products - Western Australia

Service summary

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a rendering premises to produce products for human consumption. Rendering is the process of heating raw materials to remove moisture and extract fat to produce products including oil and meal.
