Service summary

You will require this approval if you intend to construct temporary toilets that do not conform to the normal standards and requirements set out under the regulations. Examples of non-conformity that might require this approval are if the toilets you intend to construct do not have:

  • a hand basin and tap with water supply
  • a flushing mechanism
  • a toilet bowl, seat and cover
  • adequate roofs, doors, floors and walls
  • adequate light or ventilation.
