Australian Standard AS 4564-2005 Specification for General Purpose Natural Gas - Western Australia

Service summary

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a distribution system. A distribution system is a system of pipelines, mains, and gas service pipes, designed to operate at a pressure of less than 1.9 megapascals, for the transportation of gas to customers. Please be advised the standard referenced in legislation has since been superseded, you are now required to comply with Australian Standard 4564-2011 Specification for General Purpose Natural Gas.

This specification sets out requirements to ensure that general purpose natural gas is safe for use in natural gas appliances and equipment.
