You will require this approval if you intend to permanently extend the trading hours of your licensed premises.
The type of licence you hold may impact the allowed extended trading hours (i.e. time of day on weekdays or weekends).
A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.
Once endorsed on the licence, the new trading hours continue until amended except for liquor licensees where the trading hours will be reduced if the applicable annual fees are not paid.
