You will need this approval if you intend to provide vocational rehabilitation to injured workers in the ACT. An approved workplace rehabilitation provider acts as an injured workers independent party to communicate and negotiate with everyone involved in the worker's rehabilitation.
Vocational rehabilitation means:
- assessment of the needs of the worker during the rehabilitation process
- the provision of services for the injured worker aimed at maintaining them in suitable employment or returning them to suitable employment after and during an injury.
