Approval to Enter, Leave or Move Within an Animal Disease Quarantine Area - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this approval to conduct any of the following activities in an exotic disease or endemic disease quarantine area:

  • enable an animal to enter or leave a quarantine area
  • remove, alter, damage, deface or cover a quarantine notice that is in force
  • enter, leave or move within a quarantine area.

A quarantine area is an area infected with disease that is cordoned off to prevent the spread of that disease. An exotic disease or endemic disease refers to a variety of disease relating to mammalian, avian, bee, crustacean and mollusc diseases.
