Approval for Young People's Event in Adults-only Area at Licensed Premises - Australian Capital Territory


You will need this approval if you intend to conduct an event for young people in an adults-only area of a licensed premises. A young person is defined as someone aged between 13 and 17 years of age.

Application process


You must submit your application in writing and must be accompanied with a recent police check of all the people who will be working, whether paid or volunteering, at the event. The police checks must be issued no later than three months before the application.
