Approval of a Provisional Driver Training Course - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to provide a driver training course within the Australian Capital Territory. Authorised Driving instructors need to seek approval for any driver training courses they intend to provide to provisionally licensed drivers.

Provisionally licensed drivers within the ACT need to display P-plates for three years, unless they successfully complete a road ready training course. If a road ready training course has been completed, they are approved to remove their P-plates after six months.
