Approval to Repossess a Gaming Machine - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this approval if you are a credit provider and you intend to recoup losses by repossessing a gaming machine.

Gaming machines that have been repossessed must be handled carefully; you must take reasonable steps to ensure the machine is not used by anyone while you hold it under the authority of this approval.

After the gaming machine(s) has been repossessed and before you have disposed of it, an authorised officer must:

  • take meter readings from the gaming machine
  • seal the computer cabinet on the gaming machine
