Description

You will need this licence if you intend to become involved in the artificial breeding of harness race horses. Artificial breeding consists of the use of techniques and procedures used to produce planned pregnancy of horses.

You will need this licence if you are an artificial breeding technician, or you intend to use a premises as an artificial breeding station.

This licence authorises you to carry out the techniques and procedures involved in artificial breeding. This licence is generally granted to a registered veterinary surgeon. If you are not a registered veterinary surgeon, you may apply to carry out all techniques and procedures of artificial breeding, apart from those relating to embryo transfer.
