AS 2187.4-1998 Explosives - Storage, Transport and Use - Pyrotechnics - Outdoor Displays - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You may need to comply with this standard if you are involved in the outdoor display of fireworks or pyrotechnics and intend to use aerial shells. The standard specifies the requirements and precautions to be carried out for the:

  • storage
  • conveyance
  • handling
  • use of pyrotechnics for outdoor displays.

It does not apply to pyrotechnics for:

  • indoor theatrical and film sets
  • marine distress signals
  • classified and shopgoods fireworks
  • model rocket mortars.
