Building Code of Australia - Australian Capital Territory


You will be required to comply with this code if you are a licensed builder. The code contains technical provisions for the design and construction of buildings and other structures. It encompasses all aspects of the design and construction process including:

  • Structural design;
  • Fire safety;
  • Access and egress;
  • Services and equipment; and
  • Certain aspects of health and amenity.
