Description

You will need this licence if you intend to conduct research or educational programs that involve dealing with licensed controlled medicines, dangerous poisons, or prohibited substances.

Controlled medicines and prohibited substances include, but are not limited to:

  • opioids
  • benzodiazepines
  • barbiturates
  • amphetamines
  • methyl phenidate
  • phenyl acetic acid
  • kava
  • ammonium nitrate
  • anabolic steroids
  • thalidomide
  • growth hormones
  • all schedule 5 and 8 medicines
  • remedies for alcoholic, drug and tobacco habits.
