Fish Dealer Registration - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to receive fish, for resale or other commercial use, from commercial fishers. This registration is needed if you receive marine, estuarine and freshwater fish or any of their parts. It also includes all other aquatic animal life excluding oysters.

Restrictions and conditions relating to the type, volume and source of the fish may apply. This registration is intended to reduce the ecological impact of the sale of fish.

Please be aware you will not need this registration if you are receiving the fish for the purpose of transporting them on behalf of the commercial fisher.
