Food Safety Program - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need to have a food safety program if you intend to operate a high-risk food business. Food safety programs are written documents that show how a food business controls the food safety hazards associated with their food handling activities.

You are a high-risk food business if you:

  • harvest, process and distribute raw oysters and other bivalves
  • produce manufactured and fermented meats
  • serve potentially hazardous food to vulnerable populations, including hospital patients, aged care residents and children in child care centres.
