You will need this licence if you intend to deal with a radiation source. A person is taken to have dealt with a radiation source if they:
- use / operate a radiation source
- manufacture a radiation source
- possess a radiation source
- service / maintain a radiation source
- install a radiation source
- test a radiation source
- supply / sell a radiation source
- dispose of a radiation source
- inspect and assess the safety of the radiation source to ensure compliance with the Act
- store, transport or pack radioactive material.
