Licence to Transport Clinical Waste - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a business that transports clinical waste. Clinical waste results from the treatment and care of people and animals, including:

  • sharps (needles, scalpels, pipettes)
  • tissue and fluid specimens
  • cytotoxic and veterinary drugs and pharmaceuticals (used or unused)
  • materials which have been in contact with these substances.
