Motor Vehicle Racing Licence - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to conduct, promote or organise motor vehicle racing. Motor vehicle racing is only allowed at a place that the Minister has declared suitable for racing.

Motor vehicle racing includes competitions between drivers or riders of motor vehicles in which the deciding factor is the speed, manoeuvrability, reliability, durability or mechanical condition of the vehicles, the skill of the drivers or riders, or any combination of them.

The licence will not permit a motor vehicle competition to be conducted on a road, divide, footpath or nature strip that is open to the public and designated for use by cyclists or animals.
