The list of designated hazardous substances outlines what substances are classified as hazardous. By being classified as hazardous they are automatically classified as dangerous. It should be noted that there is an inconsistency clause listed in the Act where regulations that are in conflict with approved codes of practice are to be complied with. Any requirement of this code that is in conflict with what the regulation states may be disregarded, and the regulation complied with.
