Notice of Asbestos Removal Work - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You must notify the agency within 5 days of starting licensed asbestos removal work. Licensed asbestos removal work is the removal of either:

  • any amount of friable (Class A) asbestos
  • more than 10 square metres of non-friable (Class B) asbestos.

Where asbestos needs to be removed immediately, please call the agency and submit a written notification within 24 hours.
