Performance Based Standards Design Approval - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You may need Design Approval (DA) to design a heavy vehicle that will exceed standard mass limits, dimensions or design requirements under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). A heavy vehicle is a vehicle with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) or an aggregate trailer mass (ATM) of more than 4.5 tonnes.

DA applications must be submitted by an approved Performance Based Standards (PBS) assessor.
