Public Health (Community Pharmacy) Code of Practice 2016 - Australian Capital Territory


You will be required to comply with this code of practice if you intend to operate a pharmacy business in the Australian Capital Territory. The code sets out operational rules for pharmacies, including:

  • The reference material that must be available to the pharmacist;
  • How the premises must be constructed, set up and maintained;
  • Rules for the pharmacist in charge; and
  • How to manage the business if the pharmacist passes away.
