To be eligible for this licence you must:
- be an adult
- have successfully completed a qualification in the Property Development and Management Training Package (PRD01) or have completed 18 units from the Property Services Training Package (CPP07). The specific units of competency can be found in Attachment 1 of the Agents Practice Manual
- undertake and demonstrate your continuing professional development through compliance with the continuing professional development guideline.
If you hold a licence in another State or Territory and intend to conduct work in the Australian Capital Territory your licensing status will be recognised under the mutual recognition system.
In the case of a partnership or a firm, each member of the partnership or firm must be eligible for a licence, and at least one member of the partnership must be licensed.
You must publish a notice of your intention to apply for a licence (specifying the licence category or categories), in a daily Australian Capital Territory newspaper, before you apply for a licence.
