Registration as a Controlled Sports Contestant - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You may need this registration if you intend to be a contestant in a controlled sports event. A controlled sports event includes a combat sport or other high risk sport activity, such as a boxing contest.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this registration you must:

  • be at least 18 years old by the time of the contest
  • hold a certificate of fitness issued by a medical practitioner that is not more than 30 days old
  • advise if you have been convicted of a criminal offence in the last five years
  • advise if you have held any previous controlled sports registration that has been cancelled or suspended.
