You will need this permit if you intend to use or discharge explosives in the Australian Capital Territory. This includes the use of explosives in:

  • agricultural industries
  • quarries
  • blasting contractors
  • mining industry businesses.

  • be an individual (not a business or company)
  • have been granted an Authorisation of Explosives (see attached form)
  • undergo a Police Check
