Storage Permit - ACT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

The commission may issue a gaming machine licensee with a storage permit for one of the following purposes:

Store one or more gaming machines, and the authorisations for the gaming machines, for a stated period of no longer than 12 months (a general purpose).
Store one or more gaming machines to be disposed of or destroyed for a period of no longer than three months (an interim purpose).

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

The application must:

be in writing
state the purpose and the period for which the storage permit is required
if the application is by a class B licensee for a storage permit for a general purpose it must state why the storage permit is needed
state the class of gaming machine to be stored under the storage permit
state the place where each gaming machine to be stored is located
state the type of premises where each gaming machine is to be stored
state whether the premises will be used to store gaming machines for 2 or more licensees
state the serial number for each gaming machine to be stored under the storage permit
state the authorisation number for each authorisation to be stored under the storage permit.
