Taximeter Standards - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need to comply with these standards if you intend to operate a taxi service in the Australian Capital Territory. The standards outline minimum standards for taximeters in taxis, including:

  • specifications
  • installation
  • testing
  • sealing
  • general requirements.

You will not need to comply with these standards if the Authority has exempt your taxi for the fitting of a taximeter.
