Tobacco Licence - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to sell smoking or tobacco products by retail or wholesale. The licence enables you to sell tobacco products, such as cigarettes and cigars, at the premises specified by the licence.

The holder of a retail tobacconist's licence must display their licence at, or in close proximity to, each point of sale at the premises.

Licence holders must display their licence in a prominent place at each premises.

A tobacco licence (including a renewed licence) remains in force until the end of August following the grant of the licence.
