Waste Transporter Registration - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You need to register if you intend to transport or collect waste. Waste includes:

  • any substance that is discharged, emitted or deposited in the environment in such volume, constituency or manner as to cause an alteration in the environment
  • any discarded, rejected, unwanted, surplus or abandoned substance.

Registered waste transporters must display their registration number clearly and permanently on any vehicle used for transporting waste.
