The code provides guidance on how to manage health and safety risks of plant once it is in the workplace. Compliance is needed from plant installation, commissioning and use through to the decommissioning and dismantling stages.
For the purpose of complying with this code, plant includes any:
- machinery
- equipment
- appliance
- container
- implement
- tool in the workplace.
Plant also includes any component, part, fitting or connection to any of the above items.
