You will need this licence if you intend to provide a work assessment service. Works assessment work includes exemption assessments and provision of unit titles assessment reports.
There are three classes of works assessor licences:
- class A works assessor - undertake an exemption assessment
- class B works assessor - undertake exemptions assessments only for site works and developments on or in relation to class 1 buildings (standalone dwellings) and class 10 buildings (non-habitable dwellings and structures such as sheds and fences)
- works assessor - unit title - provide unit titles assessment reports.
