Accreditation as a Commercial Building Disclosure Assessor - Australian Government

Description

You will require this accreditation if you intend to act as a Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) accredited assessor.

Only CBD accredited assessors can:

  • apply for Building Energy Efficiency Certificates on behalf of building owners or lessors
  • conduct CBD tenancy lighting assessments
  • provide assessor supporting statements for exemption applications.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this accreditation you must:

  • complete the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) training and sign a contract with the NABERS Administrator
  • complete one or more supervised NABERS Energy for offices ratings
  • complete the Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) Accredited Assessor Training Course
  • complete the CBD Program Module.
