You may apply for accreditation of courses of study if you are a registered higher education provider or a regulated entity who has applied to become a registered higher education provider.
Registered higher education providers must not offer a course of study that is not accredited by either:
- the Tertiary Education Quality and Standard Agency, or
- the provider (in circumstances where the provider is authorised to self-accredit the course of study).
A registered higher education provider can apply for a self-accrediting authority which allows them to accredit new courses as they develop them.
A registered higher education provider may apply to TEQSA, in the approved form, for the renewal of the accreditation of a course of study.
