Accreditation of a Property - Australian Government

Description

You may require this accreditation if you intend to conduct export operations.

Properties will need to be accredited if the importing country requires the property to follow specific procedures or systems. There must be a management system in relation to your export operations and the plans or plant products.

The management system must ensure:

  • importing country requirements relating to the export operations and the plants or plant products are met
  • pest and contaminant control measures that are appropriate for the export operations and the plants or plant products are in place
  • personnel undertake training that is appropriate for the export operations
  • the property is kept in hygienic condition, appropriate for the export operations and the plants or plant products

The management system must ensure that the important country requirements are all met.
