Accreditation of Flexible Care Services - Australian Government

Description

You may apply for this accreditation if you operate a flexible care service. There are two programs that are covered by flexible care services, these are the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program and the Short-Term Restorative Care Programme. 

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program funds organisations to provide culturally appropriate aged care for older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Short Term Restorative Care Programme provides a range of care and services for up to eight weeks to help prevent or reduce problems older people are having with completing everyday tasks.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible to receive this accreditation you must:

  • apply in writing
  • include information outlining your planning for continuous improvement
  • submit a fee.
