You need to apply to become an accredited data recipient if you intend to use a consumer's CDR data to provide a product comparison, specific service or product, or create new products or services. Accredited data recipients are service providers who receive a consumer’s data after the consumer has given their consent.
Consumer Data Right (CDR) data is a consumer's real data information, that is:
- within a class of information specified in the designation instrument for each sector
- wholly or partly derived from CDR data.
