Agricultural and Veterinary Chemical Products Levy - Australian Government

Description

You are required to register for this levy if you intend to sell registered chemical products. If any levy payable in respect of a chemical product is not paid, the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (AGVET) Code provides that the Agency may refuse to renew the registration of the product. A levy is payable on all disposals and sales in Australia of each product.

Eligibility requirements

The levy is payable on 15 January each year, for sales made in the previous financial year.

The levy may be paid by two equal instalments, with the first instalment due on 15 January and the balance due on 15 June.
