Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Agvet) Code - Australian Government

You will need to comply with this code if you intend to work with agricultural or veterinary chemical products.

The code provides for:

• the evaluation, registration and control of the manufacture and supply of agricultural chemical products and veterinary chemical products
• the evaluation, approval and control of the supply of active constituents for proposed or existing agricultural chemical products or veterinary chemical products. An active constituent is a proposed or existing chemical product primarily responsible for the biological or therapeutic effects of the product, and its biological identification as an agricultural or veterinary chemical product.
