Approval as a Rehabilitation Program Provider - AG - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need approval if you are licensed to self insure with the Comcare scheme and intend to provide rehabilitation services. Approved rehabilitation providers are health professionals who are specialised in occupational rehabilitation and can facilitate the return to work of injured employees.

Approved providers include:

occupational therapists
rehabilitation counsellors
psychologists
physiotherapists
nurses
medical practitioners
osteopaths
speech pathologists
exercise physiologists
social workers.

Licence

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval, you may need to hold membership or accreditation with your designated industry body and be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
