Approval to Export Regulated Dairy Products - Australian Government

Description

You will require this approval if you intend to export prescribed dairy goods from Australia to regulated dairy markets. 

Prescribed dairy goods include any milk product obtained from a cow intended for human consumption, including:

  • butter
  • cheese
  • cream
  • dairy based dips
  • milk
  • milk powder and milk powder blends (including infant formula and protein / whey powders)
  • yoghurt.

Regulated dairy markets refer to domestic and international dairy markets to which Australian farmers and companies trade and / or sell their products in, such as the United States or countries in the European Union.
