Description

You will need to comply with this code if you intend to manufacture agricultural or veterinary chemical products and apply for a manufacturing licence.

The code covers the basic principles of good manufacturing practice and applies to:

  • all sectors of the industry
  • all types of products
  • all sizes of manufacturing plant.

Overseas manufacturers also need to prove that they meet this code.

The code also describes additional or modified requirements and guidelines for specific sectors of industry, such as manufacturers of:

  • sterile and immunobiological products
  • antiparasitic drugs
  • premixes
  • supplements.
