Description

You will need this licence if you intend to conduct regulated activities related to naval nuclear propulsion.

Activities covered under a licence include:

  • facility activities - prepare a site, construct, possess or control, operate, decommission or dispose of a naval nuclear propulsion facility
  • material activities - possess or control, use or operate, maintain, store or dispose of naval nuclear propulsion material, equipment or plant
  • submarine activities - construct, possess or control, operate, maintain, decommission or dispose of an Australian nuclear-powered submarine.
