Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to use a radio communications apparatus to transmit or receive messages (a radio transmitter).

A licence is required to use a radiocommunications apparatus. If you hold a licence, you may be required to either measure radiofrequency fields (RF fields) in accordance with this standard, or calculate RF fields using a model or method derived from a mathematical formulae mentioned in Appendix B of this standard.

This standard specifies techniques and instrumentation for the measurement of potentially hazardous electromagnetic fields in both the near field and far field of electromagnetic sources, in the frequency range 300 kHz to 100 GHz.
