Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in AS 4323.1:2021 Stationary Source Emissions - Selection of Sampling Positions and Measurement of Velocity in Stacks.

You may be required to comply with this standard if you intend to operate an airport lessee company, or if you are the occupier of an airport site. This standard is used as a method of air sampling to ascertain whether the amount of gaseous emission, excluding water vapour, in the air are under the acceptable limit. These pollutants are from any stationary activity that involves the burning of fuel.
