You may be required to comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, supply or install a wind turbine.

Renewable energy certificates may be created for installations of wind turbines, providing the wind turbine meets certain conditions. One of these conditions is that the wind turbine has been given product certification by an accredited body in accordance with this Standard.

This Standard specifies requirements for the design and construction of wind turbine for household premises and for commercial and industrial installations comparable with household installations.
